Trump Slams Fake News: NY Times Will Have to “Beg for Forgiveness”

President Trump lashed out at the fake news media on Tuesday, targeting one of his favorite enemies: The biased journalists and editors at The New York Times for their divisive and fictitious coverage of the Mueller report and its aftermath.

“I wonder if the New York Times will apologize to me a second time, as they did after the 2016 Election,” he tweeted. “But this one will have to be a far bigger & better apology. On this one they will have to get down on their knees & beg for forgiveness—they are truly the Enemy of the People!”

The president often takes aim at the “failing” New York Times for their ludicrous coverage, but he went one better on Tuesday, actually getting specific with his criticism of columnist Paul Krugman. Krugman, whose left-wing opinions are a mainstay of the op-ed page, wrote a piece this week that accused the Republican Party of no longer believing in “American values.” Despite the Mueller report’s conclusions, Krugman – along with so many in the fake news media – continues to insist without evidence that Trump aligned himself with a “hostile foreign power” to win the election.

Trump let him have it.

“Paul Krugman of the Fake News New York Times, has lost all credibility, as has the Times itself, with his false and highly inaccurate writings on me,” the president wrote. “He is obsessed with hatred, just as others are obsessed with how stupid he is. He said Market would crash, Only Record Highs!”

But Trump wasn’t done quite yet.

“The Radical Left Democrats, together with their leaders in the Fake News Media, have gone totally insane! I guess that means that the Republican agenda is working. Stay tuned for more!” he tweeted.

We don’t expect that the Times will be begging Trump for forgiveness anytime soon, because after all, antagonizing the president and pandering to liberals has become the new business model for their newspaper. We have no idea how they expect to stay afloat after the Trump era is over, but they are apparently content to deal with that day when it comes. Unfortunately for them, by the time they get around to addressing it, they may find there’s no one left who cares.

  1. thank you Mr president for lambasting the new york times.i have another out of country visitor and normally we go to new york to take in a play. Not this time as i ‘m totally convinced that New York with its elected representatives have just gone too liberal for me.

  2. It’s people like Paul Krugman have driven the NYT in the ground, of course it didn’t take much to drive it into the ground. The NYT is out of touch with the American people, they are willing to gamble their fortune trying to shove their distorted ideas down our throats. The 2016 elections should have told them otherwise however, their arrogance will not allow it.

  3. Krugman’s column is one that I don’t read in our local newspaper…. The first time I read his “garbage” I thought it was bad but after more of the same feces in his next column, I stoped wasting my time..! His columns don’t even qualify for the comics section!!!!!!!!!!!

    • The term journalist was used in error. Journalist are far and few between. WAPO and NYT do not employ them today. The copy boy is more of a reporter than any of the big names. Soon they will have an awakening and find them selves broke and wondering why. Evidently they have lost sight of how to run a business and lost sight of the truth..

  4. It’s the best time to make some plans for the future and it is time to
be happy. I’ve read this post and if I could I want to suggest you few interesting things
or advice. Perhaps you can write next articles referring to this article.
I wish to read more things about it! I am sure this article has touched all the
internet people, its really really pleasant paragraph on building up new blog.
I’ve been surfing online more than 2 hours today, yet I
never found any interesting article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me.
Personally, if all web owners and bloggers made good
content as you did, the web will be a lot more useful than ever before.
