Donald Trump’s latest insult of Hillary Clinton is to call her “crooked Hillary.” The insult was brought to light for the first time on Sunday by Trump, who has shown no restraint when it comes to insulting other presidential hopefuls. The billionaire’s remarks were brushed off by Clinton.
Clinton responded by stating the insult was “not even worthy of a response.”
During an interview on ABC’s “This week,” Clinton was allowed to respond to the newest insult by Trump and did so in typical Hillary fashion. “I don’t respond to Donald Trump and his insults against me,” stated Clinton. She went on to say, “I can take care of myself.”
The quick statements from Clinton were followed up with a witty response sure to bring in more votes. “He goes after women. He goes after Muslims. He goes after immigrants,” states Clinton. Ahead of the New York primaries, Clinton directed her response to New Yorkers by stating that Trump “undermines the values we stand for in New York.”
George Stephanopoulos, ABC Host, grilled Hillary on Barack Obama’s characterization of her private server using as “careless.” Clinton states, “I have not spoken to him about the email usage.” Clinton was quick to brush off the topic and quickly mentioned that Colin Powell had private email accounts.
Clinton asserts that she has never endangered national security.
The Democratic front-runner is preparing for the important New York primaries, which will take place on Tuesday, April 19. A landslide win for Clinton would help her gain a near unsurmountable delegate count on Bernie Sanders.
