Former House Speaker John Boehner Says “Cruz is Lucifer in the flesh”

John Boehner, former House Speaker, criticized Texas senator Ted Cruz on Wednesday night in front of an audience at Stanford. The speaker made it clear that Cruz does not have his support and told the audience that he is “Lucifer in the flesh.”

The harsh words were followed up with Boehner stating that he has friends in both the Democratic and Republican parties and that he gets along with everyone before stating, “I have never worked with a more miserable son of a bitch in my life,” referring to Cruz.

Boehner did remark that he is a golf buddy of Donald Trump and that the two text each other often.

A surprise remark came from Boehner when he stated, “Sanders is the most honest politician in the race.” Boehner did nod Clinton’s accomplishments and believes that she will win the party’s nomination. Critical of Clinton, the former speaker mocked her slightly when he stated, “Oh I’m a woman, vote for me.”

Ending the night with a critical view of Clinton, he further commented on her use of a private email server and stated, “Don’t be shocked if two weeks before the convention, Joe Biden comes parachuting in.” The reference is in respects to what may occur in the event that Clinton’s scandal widens.
