A hacker who goes by the name of “Guccifer 2.0” has released hacked documents from the Clinton Foundation. The files are said to come from the foundation’s digital files. The documents shed light on the foundation’s inner workings and outline Clinton’s weaknesses as a candidate.
The files list numerous negative press clips and even go as far as listing ways in which Clinton “should” defend herself against potential negative press.
A file titled “2016 Democrats Positions Cheat Sheet” outlined the major policy issues of top Democrats, including Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Jim Webb and Martin O’Malley.
Documents also put a major focus on Clinton’s acceptance of donations from foreign entities. Clinton accepted money from the Saudis during her tenure as Secretary of State while, at the same time, providing the country with weapons contracts. The documents outline how Clinton should respond to the criticism of revenue sources of the foundation.
Files also contain a “What We Don’t Know” file, which are a slew of questions that foundation personnel don’t know about Trump. One question pertains to Clinton’s speaking fees and if she did, as she stated, donate the majority of the fees she received from her speeches to Wall Street to her foundation.
