Donald Trump continues to applaud Vladimir Putin following his declaration that Putin is a better president than Barack Obama on Wednesday. The billionaire stated that Obama had reduced US generals to “rubble.”
Trump stated of Putin that, “Certainly in that system, he’s been a leader, far more than our president has been.”
Mike Pence, Trump’s running mate and Governor of Indiana, confirmed the campaign’s admiration for Putin, telling CNN, “I think it’s inarguable that Vladimir Putin has been a stronger leader in his country than Barack Obama has been in this country.”
House Speaker Paul Ryan stated, “Vladimir Putin is an aggressor who does not share our interests.”
Trump further insinuated on Russia Today that it’s “unlikely” Russia is trying to interfere with the election this year. He went on to blame Democrats for stating that the Russians are involved in cyber-attacks during the election.
The billionaire has put a new focus on Russia during his campaign and wants to improve relations between Russia and the United States.
He also urged Russians to hack into Hillary Clinton’s email server to retrieve emails that the FBI may have missed during the probe into Clinton’s email usage. The call for the attacks was done during a news conference.
