Natasha Stoynoff, a former writer and reporter, accused Donald Trump of trying to force himself on her when she was conducting an interview at Trump’s Mars-a-Lago club in Florida. The incident reportedly occurred in December 2005.
The interview was a photoshoot and interview to celebrate Trump’s and Melania’s first wedding anniversary.
In a piece in People magazine, Natasha stated that Trump wanted to show her around the mansion. Melania was “very pregnant” at the time, according to the article. “He was pushing me against the wall, and forcing his tongue down my throat,” she stated.
She alleges that Trump brought her into a room and closed the door behind him before the incident occurred.
“You know we’re going to have an affair, don’t you?” he stated to her at the time.
Stoynoff asked to be taken off of the Trump beat immediately following the incident. The Trump campaign denies the allegations and stated that they have been “fabricated.” The campaign states that a portion of the article’s comments were removed in an updated version of the article.
The removed comments were from a spokeswoman for the Trump campaign that asked People Magazine why the allegations were not previously mentioned. The comment states, “Trump was the biggest star on television and surely this would have been a far bigger scoop for People Magazine.”
