On Thursday, the ultra-liberal, out-of-control 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals voted 3-0 to uphold the block on President Trump’s executive order on immigration. While Democrats celebrate and the president vows to take the case all the way to the Supreme Court, the legal path forward for the administration is clouded in uncertainty.
Put simply, this is no longer a case the president can afford to lose. The issue is now much bigger than a 90-day ban on immigrants from seven Middle Eastern countries. It’s bigger than judicial activism. It’s bigger, even, than Donald Trump.
This is now a constitutional crisis.
Rather than fight this ruling in court, Trump may be better served to rescind the order altogether. Deprive the left of their courtroom chicanery and just go back to the drawing board. Except this time, come back with a series of executive orders that go even further than the original (rather tame) actions. Expand the banned countries to include Saudi Arabia and other nations that have exported deadly terrorists to the United States, thus stealing one of the left’s favorite talking points. Make it a 180-day ban instead of a 90-day one. Force these Soros-funded groups to spend every last dollar they have on a campaign to open America’s doors to terrorism and watch the public turn on them viciously.
President Trump can hardly be accused of political correctness, but even he has pulled his punches when it comes to exposing the liberal agenda. It’s time to call a spade a spade. It’s time to show the American people that Democrats will go to any lengths to make sure they have a permanent underclass of dependent individuals, even if it means tearing our national security into burning shreds.
Donald Trump rose to the top of the polls in 2015 with a shocking strategy that no one was prepared to resist. Caught in what appeared to be one campaign-destroying gaffe after another, he did the unthinkable: He simply refused to apologize. In many cases, he doubled down. He proved to the Republican base that he was a fighter, and he earned the nomination – and the presidency – through sheer force of will.
Now it’s time to put that fighting spirit to the ultimate test. You bastards didn’t like the travel ban? Oh well, here it is again – except this time it’s even more extreme than before. If they want a war, give it to them. Give them more than their limp wrists can handle.
