In a few short years, Hillary Clinton has gone from Secretary of State to the Democratic Party’s candidate for president to…T-shirt salesman? That’s apparently the case, as Clinton tweeted out a picture of herself this week holding up a “Nasty Woman” shirt and encouraging her legions of foolish followers to buy it. The proceeds will apparently be going to support Planned Parenthood, the abortion organization that recently gave Clinton their top honors.
The T-shirt’s phrase, of course, hearkens back to the campaign. In the final debate between Hillary and Donald Trump, the latter used the words to strike back as his Democrat challenger when she took a cheap shot at him in an unrelated answer.
“I am on record as saying that we need to put more money into the Social Security Trust Fund,” she said in the third debate. “That’s part of my commitment to raise taxes on the wealthy. My Social Security payroll contribution will go up, as will Donald’s, assuming he can’t figure out how to get out of it. But what we want to do is to replenish the Social Security Trust Fund—“
“Such a nasty woman,” Trump said, interrupting.
The phrase soon became somewhat of a rallying point for Hillary’s tens of supporters, though it never really caught on like “she persisted.” After all, her own daughter used that one for her children’s book. Perhaps Hillary will call her upcoming collaboration with James Patterson Nasty Woman just to make sure she gets her proper piece of the literary pie.
In the meantime, the shirt – which is being sold through the Samantha Bee show on TBS – will have to do.
“By getting this exclusive ‘Nasty Woman’ shirt, you’re joining Samantha Bee and countless other smart, fearless women and men in supporting Planned Parenthood Advocacy Project Los Angeles County, standing up for women’s (aka, human) rights, and helping to pave the way for a brighter future,” the description for the shirt says on the TBS store. “This is such an incredible time in our country’s history. Don’t you want to look back on it with pride, knowing that you helped make a difference? We do! Join us and let’s make it happen.”
Right, right.
Shame about all those “nasty women” who will never be born thanks to Planned Parenthood, though, huh? If feminists weren’t so busy killing the next generation of unborn liberals, Democrats might actually have a shot at winning a national election…
