It’s probably redundant at this point to get sickened by the terrorists known as the Islamic State, but it’s also important to remind ourselves every so often just how low this band of human cockroaches is willing to sink if it means spreading their diseased religious jihad.
This week, supporters of ISIS sent out a twisted message on the encrypted app Telegram, a popular social media platform for Islamic extremists who want to communicate stealthily with other like-minded terrorist sympathizers. In the message, they encouraged American jihadis to head down to Texas and launch attacks on shelters and relief centers helping the victims of Hurricane Harvey.
Newsweek obtained a copy of the transcript:
“To all the LM’s (lone mujahids) in the U.S.,” the message posted on Monday begins, using the term for “warrior” in Arabic, “pop down to Houston and drop in at any of the relief centers housing displaced people from the Houston floods, make sure to bring lots of supplies/gadgets/toys to see if you can help put any kuffs out of their misery,” continues the message, which was provided to Newsweek by radical-Islamist monitoring site Jihadoscope.
The term kuffs refers to the Arabic word “kuffar” or disbeliever. The message ends with emoji icons of an explosion, knife, bomb, gun and medical symbols, such as a pill and an injection.
It’s hard to think of anything more disgusting than targeting the survivors of a natural disaster, but then again we’re talking about a group that thinks nothing of killing children, beheading apostates, throwing gays off of buildings, and even crucifying women. To say nothing of their typical M.O. of bombing civilians, running over pedestrians, and even, on occasion, drowning unbelievers in cages. To call these freaks “animals” is to do a disservice to animals.
