Pelosi Says “White Guys” Shouldn’t Be Negotiating Immigration Deal

When are the Democrats going to wake up and remove this senile old bag from her position at the top of the House caucus already?

In remarks made at a press conference on Thursday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi continued to prove to both Democrats and the rest of the civilized world that she is every bit the racist that the left claims Donald Trump is. Of course, her racism is aimed at white people, so it doesn’t count as far as the media is concerned. That makes it okay to make these kinds of remarks, because after all, who gets hurt other than a bunch of stupid old white people, and no one really cares about them.

In her remarks to reporters, Pelosi said that it was a shame that negotiations over the DACA deal were being led by white men. “The five white guys I call them,” she said. “Are they going to open a hamburger stand next or what?”

First of all, Pelosi should be removed from office just for the terrible comedy.

Second, she even managed to irritate the number two Democrat in the House with this snide comment, seeing as how Minority Whip Steny Hoyer is one of the “white guys” she threw under the bus.

“That comment is offensive. I am committed to ensuring DREAMers are protected and I will welcome everyone to the table who wants to get this done,” Hoyer told Politico.

Hoyer, along with fellow white guys John Cornyn (R-TX), Dick Durbin (D-Ill), Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), and John Kelly, are holding regular meetings to see if Republicans and Democrats can come together on a bipartisan immigration package that assures some form of amnesty for Obama’s Dreamers.

In her press conference on Thursday, Pelosi said lawmakers should have come to an agreement long before today. “That could’ve been done four months ago. The very idea that this week they’re saying, ‘Oh why don’t we get four white guys and General Kelly to come and do this,’” she said.

We’re beginning to get the sneaking suspicion that Democrats don’t want to make this deal nearly as much as they’re pretending. They may have made the (quite badly mistaken) calculation that it’s better to use DACA as a campaign platform in the midterms than to actually compromise on any worthwhile immigration reform. They have been taken helplessly captive by an unhinged Hispanic activist minority within the party’s ranks, and they dread the backlash that might come as a result of actually, you know, passing real legislation with the Republicans.

Which is just fine with us, by the way. We’d rather see every Dreamer deported tomorrow than to watch Trump give away amnesty for nothing more substantial than a few border control trinkets. He won the election on a very specific platform, and it certainly wasn’t, “Take what Obama did and make it the law of the land.” Obstruct away, Democrats.
