In remarks made for video to the Center for Constitutional Rights and the Justice Delegation, Tamika Mallory, one of the three co-founders of the Women’s March, said that Israel was guilty of human rights crimes merely through its existence as a nation. In comments flagged by the website The Forward, Mallory said that Israel had done “whatever” it took to steal land from the Palestinians, setting into motion a crisis of humanity that it was perpetuating to this day.
“This is not about stopping one side,” Mallory said of the conflict. “This is about ensuring that the native people are able to enjoy the land. They shouldn’t have to ask anybody for their land. This is their land. When you go to someone’s home and you need a place to stay, you ask ‘Can I come into your home and can I stay here, and can we peacefully coexist?’ You don’t walk into someone else’s home, needing a place. It’s clear you needed a place to go – cool, we got that! I hear that!
“But,” she continued, “you don’t show up to somebody’s home, needing a place to stay, and decide that you’re going to throw them out and hurt the people who are on that land. And to kill, steal, and do whatever it is you’re gonna do to take that land! That to me is unfair. It’s a human rights crime.”
We would argue that every country, including the U.S. was at one point “taken” by these same means, but then, we’re all too certain that Mallory and her leftist buddies would jump all over that point with cheers and slathering agreement. If there’s any country they despise more than Israel, it’s the imperialist United States. Born at another time or in another place, these women would have been lining up to join ISIS. That’s not an exaggeration, either.
The details of Israel’s founding are, of course, quite immaterial at this point.
What IS material is that with every passing week, the founders of this group expose themselves to be sitting on the very far fringes of what’s acceptable in American political discourse. And every time they do that – whether its celebrating a cop killer or praising Farrakhan for his anti-Semitic insanity or questioning Israel’s right to exist – it needs to be publicized. It needs to be shown for what it is – an attempt by the far left to co-opt the Democratic Party and all related affiliates and to drag this country deep into Marxism. Unfortunately, the more mainstream factions on the left are only too willing to play along.
