Trump 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale is on top of the world. The campaign revealed this week that, between the money they’ve taken in and the money the RNC has raised for the re-election effort, Trump has amassed $105 million for the second quarter of the year. Not only does this fundraising dwarf anything that a 2020 Democrat has managed to put together, it even outpaces the legendary Obama fundraising machine from this point in 2011. Trump is heading into the general election next year with an unprecedented war chest, and that has Parscale feeling very confident.
“I think the president could beat anybody,” Parscale said in an interview with Fox News on Tuesday. “The momentum we’re seeing right now. I mean look – $105 million raised, a hundred million cash on hand. What we’re seeing overall – the president’s success overseas, the momentum behind this president right now is like nothing that history has ever seen.”
Parscale said that Trump was not concerned with the recent fluctuations in the polls on the Democratic side. After the first week of debates, Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, and Pete Buttigieg have seen a significant boost in the polls. It has come at the expense of the frontrunner, former Vice President Joe Biden, who lost 8 points in the most recent Quinnipiac survey. But the campaign manager said it didn’t make much difference who the Democrats put up against the president.
“We’re not even in the main portion of the campaign yet where we’re already raising large numbers, this president in the voice he has, the message he can control, in the way he can control what’s happening on the media. No one can touch this,” Parscale said. “And I think the president is set for four more years.”
Asked if President Trump had any plans to rebut the socialist propaganda and promises coming from the Democrats – free college, free healthcare, etc. – Parscale said that Trump’s record was strong enough on those issues to combat anything the Democrats threw at the wall. He went further to say that Trump was set to improve upon voting demographics that Democrats currently believe they have in the bag.
“I think the Republican Party is in a strong position with Latino voters and other demographics. I think the Republic Party is on a straight course to more victories win back the House lead the Senate and have four more years of President Trump so I’m not worried about it one bit,” Parscale said.
We’ll see soon enough if Parscale’s confidence is justified; it’s still a long, long way to election day.
