Trump: Democrats Ignore “Vile, Hateful” Remarks from Progressive Squad

President Trump has been in the center of a media feeding frenzy this week that can only be compared to the one he endured after his Charlottesville comments in 2017. Everyone who’s anyone in the media has called him a racist, and they’ve been diligent about making sure that all Republicans who don’t condemn him are painted with the same brush. Why? Well, you know why: He told a group of progressive House Democrats to go back to their countries of origin and fix those places before they criticize the United States. Unreported: That he told them to come back and then show us how it’s done.

But Trump, accustomed to the passing winds of these controversies, isn’t even close to backing down. In fact, it seems he’s having a ball with the fallout, which has united the Democratic Party around four socialist congresswomen who can barely go a day without slamming America, bashing Israel, downplaying 9/11, or saying we should throw open the borders.

“The Democrat Congresswomen have been spewing some of the most vile, hateful, and disgusting things ever said by a politician in the House or Senate, & yet they get a free pass and a big embrace from the Democrat Party,” Trump tweeted on Tuesday.

“Horrible anti-Israel, anti-USA, pro-terrorist & public shouting of the F-word, among many other terrible things, and the petrified Dems run for the hills,” he continued. “Why isn’t the House voting to rebuke the filthy and hate laced things they have said? Because they are the Radical Left, and the Democrats are afraid to take them on. Sad!”

Ah yes, the big vote. Pelosi wants to officially condemn Trump’s remarks as “xenophobic” with a meaningless House censure. Okay, cool. But Trump is right: When her back was up against the wall earlier this year, and it was Ilhan Omar in the crossfire, Pelosi couldn’t bring herself to condemn the freshman. Instead of issuing an official warning against Omar’s anti-Semitic comments, Pelosi watered down the message to a bland, all-encompassing “we stand against racism and religious bigotry” message that mentioned the president, but not the Minnesota Muslim.

Trump is coming out ahead in this battle, whether anyone on the left wants to admit it or not. In one tweet, he successfully interrupted the Democratic Civil War and made every working class voter in the Midwest confident that, yes, this is now the party of Ocasio-Cortez, Omar, Tlaib, and Pressley. This is now the party of socialism. This is now the party that hates America. Vote for them at your own risk.

A few bad headlines aren’t going to change that message.
