Alyssa Milano on the “Great Joys” Her Aborted Children Would Have Stolen

Disgraceful actress Alyssa Milano was back on her rancid liberal soapbox this week, irate over Planned Parenthood’s decision to withdraw from the Title X program in the wake of the Trump administration’s new rule that prohibits funding to clinics that refer patients for abortion procedures. Milano was not upset at Planned Parenthood for choosing abortion over taxpayer funding – of course not. She was angry because of all those evil WHITE MEN in Washington who are supposedly making decisions for oppressed women across the United States.

So angry was Milano, in fact, that she decided to use her podcast to make a confession: She herself had an abortion in the early 1990s. And she liked that one so much, she had another!

“In 1993 I had two abortions,” Milano said. She said that while she was in love at the time – “in the breathless way you can only be in love when you are young” – and taking birth control, somehow her boyfriend’s little swimmers found a way past all her defenses.

But because Milano “had a career, and a future, and potential,” she decided she would rather not be burdened with the responsibilities of parenthood. She described it as “devastating” to learn she was pregnant. “I was raised Catholic and was suddenly put in conflict with my faith, a faith I was coming to realize empowered only men to make every single decision about what was allowed and what was not allowed.”

In other words, instead of using this unexpected development and allowing it to guide her to a true awakening, she went in the other direction, lashing out at the Catholic values that advised her against killing her unborn child.

“I chose to have an abortion,” she said. “I chose. It was my choice. And it was absolutely the right choice for me.”

If not for the baby.

Milano expressed no regret for the decision: “I refuse to allow anyone else’s bullshit morality to force me into a life of premarital celibacy. I refuse to live in the narrative that sexual pleasure is for men and that women exist to deliver that pleasure.”

As a young woman, Milano apparently also refused to figure out what was causing her to get pregnant. She had another abortion before the end of 1993.

But all’s well that ends well, says the actress.

“My life would be completely lacking all its great joys. I would never have been free to be myself, and that’s what this fight is about. Freedom,” she concluded.

Keep trying to convince yourself of that, Alyssa.
