Trump Family Member Gets Fired

Following Donald Trump’s announcement that he would be running for the White House again in 2024, his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, was let go from Fox News.

Lara Trump, wife to Eric Trump, was previously a paid contributor for Fox News, but since Trump’s launch of his 2024 presidential campaign, she has not appeared on the network at all. This is in line with the company’s policy to not have any people who are actively working on a campaign as part of their payroll. This has indicated that Lara Trump may be a part of Donald Trump’s campaign team.

A Fox News Media spokesperson has noted that all of Lara Trump’s previous contributions were extremely appreciated.

Previously Lara Trump has discouraged Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) from placing a bid on the White House. This had come before Trump had announced his own presidential campaign in 2024.
In regards to DeSantis Lara had noted that he believed DeSantis to be a smart guy who knew that it is important for the entire party to support the MAGA movement and put the country’s well-being first.

She added that she would completely support him if he placed a bid for the 2028 election, but in 2024 they should avoid fracturing the party.

At the same time, Lara Trump still has her own online show, The Right View, where she interviewed Donald Trump in October.
