House Republicans Looking Into ABC/Epstein Story Coverup

Since leaving NBC in the rearview mirror, journalist Megyn Kelly has turned her full attention on delving into the Jeffrey Epstein story. Specifically, she has been at the forefront of reporting on the bombshell revelation last month that ABC reporter Amy Robach had a huge story planned on Epstein in 2015. Unfortunately, worried that they might lose access to the British Royal Family if they aired allegations against Prince Andrew, the network killed the story.

Last month, Robach was caught on a hot mic complaining about ABC’s decision to quietly make her story – which included an interview with Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre – go away.

On her Instagram page this week, Kelly revealed that House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy is looking into the coverup. She shared a letter that McCarthy and two other House Republicans sent to ABC News, demanding answers about the Epstein story.

“Congress now cracking down on ABC News … accusing ABC News of enabling Jeffrey Epstein by not reporting this story, suggesting additional victims may not have come forward and that minors may have gone on getting abused because ABC did not pursue the story,” Kelly wrote.

In the letter, McCarthy tells ABC News President James Goldston: “I am deeply concerned that this victim, in search of justice, went to ABC News, provided information and an interview, and then ABC News chose to bury the truth.

“ABC News’s initial response and subsequent actions reveal their priority is to identify and hold accountable the individual who released the video to the public,” the letter continues. “We believe that uncovering the source of the information is incomparably less important than the possibility of exposing the source of a human trafficking operation.”

ABC News went into immediate damage control mode after a whistleblower leaked the Robach footage to Project Veritas. Instead of coming clean about the Epstein story, they forced Robach to issue a public statement insisting that she’d mischaracterized the network’s approach to her reporting. While in the hot-mic video, Robach insists “she had all of it,” her press release says that her story did not rise to ABC’s journalistic standards. This was regarded as odd by any viewer who recalls the network’s willingness to air unproven, wild allegations against Brett Kavanaugh last year.

In addition to their PR campaign, ABC also went on a ruthless hunt for the leaker. Believing it was a former news producer named Ashley Bianco, they contacted her current employer, CBS, and got her fired only four days after she took the job. Bianco later told Megyn Kelly in an interview that she had absolutely nothing to do with the release of the Robach video.

ABC later confirmed they are “actively searching” for the identity of the leaker.

McCarthy is right; their priorities are completely out of whack. Maybe their management needs to come to Capitol Hill and explain themselves to the American people.

  1. fuck the abc/Epstein cover-up !! stop wasting time on that crap and indict killery like you are supposed to !! and all the rest of the criminals in her circle !!

  2. Ashley Bianco should sue the motherfuckers at ABC that got her fired. These bastards need to pay the price for their coverup of the Epstein story first, and for persecuting the leaker of the video second.

  3. We saw some horrible things happen in our own USA last year and the Murder of Epstein was one.
The FBI allowing a corrupt investigation take place with punishments that never should have taken place was another.
Let up hope 2020 proves to be more kind.

  4. The media have 0 credibility.
Journalism died here in the USA, now all we have are liberal opinions and pure propaganda.
Because the media are heavily involved with the Lolita Express, ABC did a huge cover-up, look at the list of people who went to Epsteins Island, among the big na,mes, Barbara Walters, Mike Wallace..
Then we have Harvey Weinstein, the hero of Hollywood and all the networks are silent!!

  5. Unless people with a conscience and a brain revolt, the media will not change.
They are 24/7 attempting to destroy the Trump presidency, there were 63 million Trump voters and they want to negate the 63 million votes.
Time for Trump Supporters and people who do not want Socialism to retaliate now!

    • The BEST way to hurt the mainstream media is, to simply turn them off when they come on. And, boycott their sponsors too. If they get hit in the pocketbook, like the NFL & ESPN have been, it won’t take too long for them to change their m.o. IF you just HAVE to watch news, watch your local channel, then turn the world news off, or change the channel to something else. As long as we watch them, we’re supporting them. I only get one channel, on my computer, & that’s CBS. But, the only news that I watch on there, is local news.

  6. I’d like to see this story followed thru to it’s conclusion. The people involved, regardless of fame, power and money, can and are just dirt bags. The high and mighty are just as low and filthy as a street beggar, no disrespect to the beggar who might be a fine person inside. These people need to be exposed for what they truly are…

  7. You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be actually something that I think I would never understand.
