New documents obtained by Judicial Watch through a Freedom of Information Act request show the lengths to which President Obama’s State Department aided and abetted former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in her quest to get her hands on sensitive records so that they would be removed from the public eye…forever. The request, which included a demand for all DS-1904 forms completed by Clinton, former Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills, former aide Huma Abedin, and former aide Jacob Sullivan, went a long ways toward revealing the level of corruption that allowed Clinton to get away with her federal crimes.
“We already know the Obama State Department let Hillary Clinton steal and then delete her government emails, which included classified information,” said Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton. “But these new records show that was only part of the scandal. These new documents show the Obama State Department had a deal with Hillary Clinton to hide her calls logs and schedules, which would be contrary to FOIA and other laws.”
According to the forms, both Clinton and Abedin were allowed to come in to the State Department and retrieve electronic and paper documents under the claim that they were “unclassified, non-record materials.” These documents included readouts of Clinton’s phone calls and schedules, casting further suspicion about exactly how she was using her time as the nation’s top diplomat. Suspicion that raises questions to which we may never know the answers, given how willingly (and illegally) the State Department allowed these Democrats to destroy the evidence.
Fitton provided a list of the records that Clinton and her aides were allowed to take off the premises:
A copy of her daily files, a log of the files Clinton had made since 2004, a log of the files Clinton wanted to make, 16 boxes of personal schedules pre-dating her time as Secretary (?!), 29 boxes of public schedules going back to her time as First Lady, personal receipts, photos, correspondence, gifts, email contact lists, travel records, and something called “Muslim Engagement Documents.”
The purpose of Clinton’s treasure hunt is obvious: She wanted to remove from the possible public record anything that might be used against her as she mounted her run for president. We can assume this includes the many meetings she took with and the favors she did for Clinton Foundation donors, but seeing as how she was walking out the door with documents dating back to 1993, there’s really no telling what kind of evidence ultimately found its way into a Chappaqua incinerator.
“When are the American people going to get an honest investigation of the Clinton crimes?” asked Fitton.
