Vice President Joe Biden to Donald Trump: “You’re Fired”

Vice President Joe Biden spoke on the third day of the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday. The Vice President immediately attacked Donald Trump, stating “his lack of empathy and compassion can be summed up in a phrase I suspect he’s most proud of having made famous, ‘you’re fired’.”

Biden questioned how Trump or anyone could be proud of and take pleasure in firing someone.

“He’s trying to tell us he cares about the middle class?” stated Biden. The speech is likely to be the final major speech made by Biden in his career. The speech was filled with praise for Hillary Clinton, followed by a strong endorsement for the former secretary of state.

Biden called Trump the least unprepared presidential nominee in the history of the United States.

Trump called for Russia to release or hack the emails that Clinton deleted on her private email server earlier in the day. The suggestion by Trump has led to a focus on Trump dealing with dictators. Vladimir Putin, Russian president, was mentioned in Biden’s speech, too.

“We cannot elect a man who belittles our closest allies while embracing dictators like Vladimir Putin” he said.

Biden will take to the campaign trail for Clinton with a major focus on blue collar states where his appeal has the most influence.
